HUBBY PREPARED DINNER

Hubby prepared dinner today as Kyle and Isaac was very cliny to me. He prepared the steak and lamb chop we bought over the weekend, the ready marinated ones from Jaya Jusco. By the time he finished grilling them I was feeling very hungry as we came back from work late. When the food was served, I was so happy thinking i can fill my hungry stomach.
When I took a slice of the steak, eeeeewwwwwwww it was lumpy n soft in the middle, tried cutting to see if it is cooked. Well, they were all uncooked hahahha, so he has to regrill them, except for the lamb chop. While he was regrilling the rest, i started eating the lamb chop, hahah sorry i was to hungry then. The lamb chop tastes superb, better than what we cooked on Saturday, probably it's well marinated by now.
I had it with some grilled capsicum and cherry tomatoes, yummy...

When he came back with the steak, we started eating, and gosh... there's no difference between eating rubber and the steak, hahah we both laughed... Guess it was the way the slice the beef or maybe it's an old cow, hahaha... We ended up throwing everything away and instead we had cereal for dinner...
Too bad, but definitely we won't be buying those steak anymore, but the lamb chop is fabulous...

Anyway, I have gained 2 kgs since the last i weighed myself... hmmm guess no food for me anymore... :(

burglary

testing posting thru my phone, see how good isit. My office got broken in thgs afternoon while were away for lunch. We left the office at around 130pm and came back around 240pm. When my colleague opened the door, she say the door knob missing and say d computer bag lying on d floor. She knew something bad would have happened. True enough they were shocked to see their notebooks missing. There were 4 notebooks altogether, all gone. My boss called d police station to file a report and police came ard 15 minutes later. They then went to the bandar hilir police station to lodge a report. Hmmm d moral of the story is even wif the door locked and the alarm on its not safe. So we should becareful all the time.

I cooked!

Went to Tesco after work today. Felt like cooking as don't know what to eat for dinner... Went around buying some ingredients to cook... Thought of Steph's recipe (Bacon wrapped asparagus and salmon bundles) Hmmm, good idea to try it as it's not difficult to prepare. Suppose to cook steak, but when i reach home, found that it was in the freezer, no time to defrost it, i prepared the Bacon Wrapped Asparagus n Salmon Bundles... Initially wa sa bit difficult as Kyle was so clingy to me as he kept wanting me to carry him, so i fed him milk, played with him a while then asked Ati to distract him... Hmmm he must be prety tired today as he slept quite early, even before i finish preparing my meal. Isaac fell asleep on the way back home as he didn't nap in the afternoon today. So pretty easy for me to cook today as not much distraction, otherwise the two kids will be demanding my attention, especially Kyle as though I am gonna leave him. On top of that i baked oyster n needle mushroom... plus some taiwan sausages... Grilled some green, red and yelllow peppers too... hmmm not too bad though that's it... one meal done.

Hmmm trial and error, I must admit my asparagus were too long, suppose to cut it into half. Wrapped with too big bundle of asparagus too, haha too greedy... will have less asparagus next time... Well, not too bad, edible though.

3rd Day At School, Is this the LAST?

Today's Isaac's 3rd day at school and could it be the last? Hmmm, I can't send him today as I am busy and asked Lui to send him... Guess what? He didn't want to go down initially, so dad asked if he wants to see baby Ruben so at last he went down... Apparently the teacher came to the gate to greet him, and wanted to carry him from Lui , he started crying and hugged Lui tightly and didn't want to go down... When i called to check how is he doing in school, I was shocked when Lui told me Isaac's in my mil's shop... sigh...

How to deal with kids not wanting to go school? Any tricks?

Should we be there with him for the first few days? Or should we let him cry for a few days... I was told by the teacher its usual for them to cry and they can handle them... but guess Isaac is now phobia to go to school... I don;t want him to associate school with a bad memory... I want him to enjoy gg to scool everyday and have the impression that school is fun. hmmmm... any advice?

Summary of November...

Well, in the beginning of November, during the Deepavali holidays we went back to Klang. This time around, we stayed at 2nd yee yee's house cos ah koo was in Shanghai and kim's kim's mom was admitted to the hospital due to stroke. However it was so fun staying i nyee yee's house for 3 nights, gotto play with koko Shaw Ben and che che Jo-Vynn. We went swimming in The Botanic's club. It was an enjoyable a memorable outing...

on the 26th November, Isaac fell down at nite while playing with unc Thomas and che che Cheryl... Ouch, he got a big swelling on his forehead... mom's heart was broken when saw the swell... It healed a week after that.

On the 28th Mom sent Isaac to school, Taska Sin Hoe,(Smart Junior). So far he went for two days, though he cried, the second day was better than the 1st day i sent him. He is looking forward to go to school again tomorrow.

Kyle Got his MMr shot this month too...

Breakfast on a Sunday morning

It's a Sunday morning, usually we will go out to have Dim Sum or Yong Tau Foo at Bukit Beruang. Today, mom and dad prepared breakfast. We had sausages, scrambled egg and french toast, whereas mom n dad had bacon instead of sausages. Hmmm yummy but we played more than we eat, nevermind at least we ate some, but both of us finished the milo mom make for us... yum yum...

Yesterday mom cooked us macaroni, with celery, fishcake, bacon, tomatoes and onions... not bad though, Kyle had quite a fair bit of it, Isaac had a bowl... Hmmm maybe this will give mom more motivation to cook us meals instead of us having porridge everyday, hahahha

My First Day in School

Yesterday, Nov 28 2007 marks Isaac's first day in school. Mommy sent him to Taska Sin Hoe (Smart Junior) in Bukit Baru. Isaac enjoyed himself playing with the toys, but he wants me to be with him. I was with him initially, then later i sneaked out and he cried, loudly rushing to the door to look for me. It's so disheartening to leave the plc knowing he is crying and this is a new plc to him. So i hid behind the window to see how he is doing for almost 20 minutes.Haha, I am not too good at hiding, he spotted me and i went in with him... Accompanied him a while and i asked the teacher usually what would they recommend if this case happens, she told me she would advise me to just leave the place and they'll sotthe the child. later i left the place with a heavy heart, while driving i kept thinking what is he doin now? Will he be crying still? So poor thing to hear him crying and saying "I wanna follow mum" Mummy,.... mummy,... I wanna go out... i wanna follow mum." these are the few phrases that he kept repeating. I left the plc at last and kept calling the kindi every 15 to 30 minutes to ask how is he doing. I left ard 1025 and he cried till 1130, poor thing... When i went to pick him at 1230, the teacher was feeding him lunch, he seemed fine and was eating til he saw me at the gate and burst out in tears,... i went over to hug and assure him i 'll pick him back now...

I thought of sending him now, though it's the end of the year hoping that he is used to the school environment so that i wun get so much of headache when scholl starts in January where there'll be more new students and therefore they can't pay much attention. Thought of getting him used to it, so easier job for me in Jan... now my bigges t headache is he's kinda ok tday when i sent him there again, cried, but much better than yesterday... Cried only a while and when i went to pick him saw him enjoying himself while the teacher feeds him lunch...

Come to think bout it, I am choosing between Pei Daw or this plc. Smart Junior seemed to be more crowded, reason being it's a semi-detached house and it's less spacious compared to Pei Daw. Pei Daw will be starting with new system, "Fun Gates" system starting next year, therefore all the apparatus, and stuffs are new. Hmmm... was thinking of sending him to Smart Junior till Dec, then decide in January... Wil be going to Pei Daw to check tomorrow if they have classes in December... otherwise will go for trial classes there...

Swelling on Isaac's forehead

Yesterday, Monday 26th nov 2007 was a painful day for me when i came back from our usual badminton day out. Isaac was playing with Thomas and Cheryl... Guess he was out of control and played too much. He was jumping on and off his bed and out of a sudden he tripped and DANNNGGGGGGGG... he knowcked his forehead ad the edge of the bed. It was so swollen, and looks a bit like an alien, having a bump on his forehead. He cried quite long, according to Thomas , oh dear, it must have hurt him badly... anyhow he slept after Cheryl carried him for sometime...

While having dinner with Fatt after badminton, we were just talking bout kids falling and all, could not believe it when i heard Isaac knocked his head... I just got my new toy, N95 and snapped a pic of him with my new phone. If it wasn't me who came back later than usual as i went to pick up the phone, this accident might not happen. Thank God, nothing serious happen to Isaac as I checked with Dr Yip, his peadiatrician bout the hump on his forehead by showing him the picture i took... Dr Yip says that is Isaac looks drowsy and if he vomits, then I should bring him over for a scan. In addition, he said thet the forehead is harder, if it was the back, then have to be more careful... Phewww... thanks Dr Yip for reassuring.

HeArTaChE

Was trying to put Isaac to sleep, he was climbing up and down, and out of a sudden he threw my phone right on my forehead. Ouch! It hurts like hell... just like being hit by a brick! I got so angry and caned him on his buttock. Of course he yelled and cried, scolded him for doing so as i was darn mad and angry... Later when i cooled down myself in another room, i felt so heartache that i whacked him... I am sorry Isaac, i dun mean to cane you, but it just hurt so much... He's sleeping soundly now, so as Kyle... goodnight my two precious ones...

PIcking nose

haha, Kyle likes to pick nose when he sees me a i will always play with him and ask him not too, so now he take it as a game that he wil pick his nose to make me laugh. He is so clever now, can;t talk yet, but we know what he meant. He'll point at his leg, meaning to ask me wear his shoes, and bring him go cycling. It has been a routine now to cycle both Isaac and Kyle in the evening when we are back from work.

Isaac has grown up and he can sit on the toilet bowl to potty. He is now used to it and he will usually read his dad's magazine while pooing... Hmmm seems this is his gonna be his style whenever he goes to the toilet... Hopefully he doesn't develope piles as sitting in the bowl to long will have a higher risk of getting it. Arghhh... so sad nowadays he doesn't wanna go to hi poh poh's shop anymore, he will come manja in the morning to say he wanna follow me to work... poor thing he must be bored already, after being in his poh poh's shop for more than 2 years.

Little introduction...

First of all, sorry for starting this blog late... HAve been procrastinating since Isaac's birth two years ago. Isaac is 2 years, 4 mths, 1 week and 6 days old and Kyle is 1 year, 3 mths, 1 week, 0 days old today... Both my boys are so bubly and adorable... Well, it's been a handful since i delivered Kyle, nevertheless things are easier now and well all the hardwork, sleepless nights and sacrifices are worth it... So from today onwards, hopefully I'll post more often here to keep a diary for both of them...

Isaac: Started turning from back to tummy: 3 mths and 1 day old, has his first tooth, 4 mths old, called 'papa' ard 7 mths old, started walking ard 13 mths old and started to talk ard 22 mths old... and now he is a chatty box.

Kyle: Started turning fr back to tumy ard 4 mths, first tooth ard 6 mths old, babbled ard 2 mths (haha very chatty), called 'mama' ard 9 mths, started walking ard 13 mths plus and more...

MMR jab, OUCH!!!

Brought Kyle for his MMR jab on Friday, 16th Nov. He didn't like it as we reached the lift in MMC, its disheartening to see and hear him scream as the needle poked his buttock... MAAAAAA wow! he screamed and cried so loudly but it's only like 20 seconds later he stopped crying as i distracted him to have his hands washed... hahaha kids... It's suppose to be taken within 12 to 15th month, and now he is 15 month and 5 days already, so i can't procrastinate further. His next jab would be at 2 years, if i decide to give him prevenar jab, arghhh i got to go Kyle just got up, gotto make him sleep
